Our Response to COVID-19

Dear Valued Clients and Friends:

I hope this email finds you and your loved ones healthy and gradually adapting to the new normal of these unprecedented times facing our country. The coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) is distressing for all, and we are most mindful of our injured clients and nursing home residents who are extremely vulnerable to the dangers of this deadly disease.

While the coronavirus has impacted every part of our lives, it does not impact our singular commitment to you: To Do One Thing: What is Right for Our Clients.

Our office is currently open and we are practicing the recommended precautions. In the interest of public health and safety we are transitioning our firm to work remotely. With our state of the art technology and the incredible commitment of our staff, we are continuing to move our cases forward. We are also available for any new matters where you need our legal assistance or advice.

Jury trials have been placed on hold in New Jersey, so trial dates are currently uncertain. Arbitrations and other in-person court hearings are also temporarily suspended. However, through video conferencing and communications technology, we can still move forward with depositions, hearings, case analysis, research, etc., without compromising the safety of clients, staff, court reporters, experts, judges or opposing counsel.

The impact of COVID-19 on the legal landscape is difficult to predict, but we will navigate these uncharted territories with the same heart and tenacity that you expect of us. We will adapt to these challenges and ensure that we continue the pursuit of justice for our clients, while never compromising public safety.

We look forward to seeing you when it is finally safe to do so.

In the meantime, please heed the CDC health warnings and protect yourself and your family. We are always here for you, so please feel free to call us anytime at (973) 984-1414 or email sleonard@leonardlawyers.com with any questions or concerns.

Be well and stay safe.

Regards,
Scott
